Serious Crash Halts Traffic On Rt 743 In Mount Joy (Developing)

At least one person was injured in a crash in Mount Joy on Monday morning, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.

The two-vehicle happened on Hershey Road/Route 743 near Route 283 westbound around 7:15 a.m. on April 15, LCWC explained. 

At least one person was entrapped in a vehicle and one person was injured, but it is not immediately clear if those were the same person, if there were other injuries, and what are the extent of those injuries. 

Hershey Road/Route 743 was still closed from Rt 283 W to Beverly Road two hours after the crash. 

This is the same location where Dean Lehman of Elizabethtown died in a crash on June 29, 2023, as reported at the time by abc27
